Domus Ottavia; two splendid vacation apartments!
In Rome and Syracuse. Two fantastic locations!
Since 2014, we have been offering a splendid apartment in an absolutely exceptional location in Rome.
"Domus Ottavia in Rome". Just 350 meters from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Basilica, it offers a side view of the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican.
From its windows, you can see the top of the Obelisk rising above the famous colonnade of the grandiose Square.
In 2022, we expanded our offering to another vacation apartment, also just 350 meters from another place, lesser-known but, for some reasons, no less fundamental: the Cathedral of Syracuse, on the island of Ortigia. It was here that the Apostle Paul, even before arriving in Rome in 61 AD, laid the foundations for a vibrant Christian community with his preaching.
The "Domus Ottavia in Ortigia", from its central location, offers the opportunity to easily enjoy both the marvelous sea and unforgettable days immersed in the millennia old history and culture of the "Center of the Mediterranean," a crossroads of the world's greatest cultures!
We like to think that the striking similarities between the two "Domus Ottavias," in a certain sense, make them twinned by a single "common thread."
