The apartment, located on the 2nd floor of a charming late-19th-century building, can be reached either by a recently renovated period elevator or via a convenient staircase.

The prestigious apartment is located at the beginning of Via Ottaviano, just a few steps from the “Vatican Walls”, and enjoys a unique and exceptional position. From the windows you can glimpse the cross placed atop the obelisk at the center of “St. Peter’s Square”, the “Porta Angelica”, and part of the colonnade that embraces the most famous square in the world. From the windows it is also possible to admire the entire façade of the “Apostolic Palace”, from which every Sunday at 12:00 noon the Pope appears for the Angelus prayer.

In furnishing the “Domus Ottavia in Rome”, we sought to recreate the warm atmosphere of the interiors of the early 1900s, the period in which the new “Prati District” was born following the transfer of Italy’s capital from Turin to Rome.

The result is a large, bright, spacious, and welcoming home, with windows three meters high and ceilings over four and a half meters: dimensions that convey an unmistakable sense of vastness and tranquility at the same time.

The kitchen, modern and functional, allows you to prepare both breakfast and main meals.

The two bathrooms, both equipped with large showers and unlimited hot water generated “on demand” by a gas boiler, offer remarkable comfort.

In the laundry area there is a washing machine, a large hanging drying rack, and a small ironing board with a steam iron.

A large hotel-style safe is available to protect your valuables.

All windows are fitted with double glazing, while the aluminum shutters have adjustable slats that allow, if desired, complete nighttime blackout.

Elegant, refined, and equipped with all services, the neighborhood offers wide shopping streets and quiet side streets, typical Italian regional restaurants and excellent pizzerias, modern supermarkets and historic local markets, all framed by splendid tall trees.

A key strength of the “Domus Ottavia in Rome” is its proximity to the Vatican: from “St. Peter’s Square” to the “Vatican Museums”, everything is just 400 meters away.

The main public transport links of the capital are easily accessible: 150 meters away is the Metro Line A stop “Ottaviano–San Pietro”, while just 50 meters away, in Piazza del Risorgimento, there are numerous bus lines and a major taxi rank.

The Mausoleum of Hadrian (Castel S. Angelo), Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and many other wonders are within a 2 km radius and can also be reached on foot, strolling along the vibrant Via Cola di Rienzo.
